Following the success over the last three years, we are excited to launch the 2020 ‘Fintech Mentoring scheme’ in partnership with Bank of America. Through the course of the programme, you will meet women who will inspire, challenge and support you to build a rewarding career in Fintech.

Following the success over the last three years, we are excited to launch the 2020 ‘Fintech Mentoring scheme’ in partnership with Bank of America. Through the course of the programme, you will meet women who will inspire, challenge and support you to build a rewarding career in Fintech. Every two weeks, you will have a session with a mentor where you can hear about the different career pathways in Fintech, ask questions about your career and get help to prepare effectively for interviews. Your mentors will also share exclusive insight into the work culture and activities at Bank of America. This programme is delivered virtually which means you can build strong relationships with high-quality mentors from the comfort of your home. 

The programme is open to women based in the UK and Ireland who meet the eligibility criteria:
  • You are in the penultimate year of your Undergraduate degree (If you are a current final year student and going on to do a Master’s degree, you can apply too)
  • You have completed an online or in-person coding course (either a CFG course or equivalent)
  • You are willing to commit to the time and effort required to participate successfully (8-10 hours in total)
  • You want to work in Fintech and are open to considering a career at Bank of America. 
 

Key dates:

  • 20th June - Applications close
  • 8th July - Onboarding call
  • 13th July - Launch event
  • 26th August - Closing event
